Day 1
Arriving at Yangon International Airport you will be welcomed by our well experienced tour guide, who knows your language. We will transfer you to your hotel.

We can’t wait to meet you and show you in the Golden Land!

After you freshen up and when you’re ready you’ll be taken for an unforgettable sightseeing tour of Yangon! We will show you downtown Yangon which was founded as Dagon in the early 11th century and has the most Colonial era buildings in South East Asia.

We will visit Bogyoke Aung San Market (previously called the Scott Market,) which is the perfect place to buy souvenirs and gifts of local handicrafts, woodcarvings, dolls, lacquer wares, textiles and gems.

Then we will take you to the spectacular Shwedagon Pagoda (one of the world’s most famous and richest stupas.) The Shwedagon is over 2,500 years old towering over the city with a height of 326 feet and covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Overnight stay in Yangon at Governor’s Residence.

Day 2
After your complimentary hotel breakfast, we will start by riding the Circular Train. This will give you an insight into how Myanmar people live and you will get great photos.

Then we will visit the National Museum where you will learn about Myanmar art, history and culture. We will continue by visiting Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, a colossal reclining Buddha. After that we will visit Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the royal Kan Daw Gyi Lake the ancient Kings of Myanmar traveled in similar looking boats. Overnight stay in the historical Governor’s Residence.

Day 3
After breakfast check out of your Hotel and we will fly to Mandalay. Upon arrival in Mandalay, our guide and driver will escort you to your Hotel.

Mandalay was the last Royal city in Myanmar; it was from here that Burma’s last monarch, King Thibaw, was exiled to the remote port city of Ratnagiri on India’s west coast, to spend his last years. Apart from the Royal Palace made famous by the novelist Amitav Ghosh’s “Glass Palace,” the stately city is the countries Centre for exquisite artwork and craftsmanship.

We will visit the Jade Market and 19th century Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery) famous for its teak carvings of Buddhist mythology. Next, you’ll see the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world’s largest book of Buddhism.

At the end of your day, you’ll enjoy a gorgeous sunset from the top of Mandalay Hill which was a strong hold for the Japanese in the second world war. Overnight in Mandalay at Ruper Mandalar Hotel.

Day 4
After your complimentary hotel breakfast, we will drive to Amarapura the “City of Immortals” and visit the Mahamuni Pagoda or Mahamuni Buddha temple one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Burma.

We will continue to visit the 150 year old Mahagandayon Monastery, a famous Buddhist learning center. Then we will drive to AVA were we will see the Umin Thonze Pagoda which comprises of 45 beautiful gilded Buddha images in a crescent shaped colonnade, partly built into the side of the Sagaing Hill. Each Buddha statue is unique in different sizes & facial expression. Then Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda which is one of the oldest and richest of the many pagodas in Sagaing. Sitting high on top of Nga pha Hill, one of dozens of hilltops in the Sagaing Hills, it was built in 1312 by Minister Pon Nya, after whom it’s named and AVA Bagaya Monastery built with two hundred and seventy six teak pillars.

We will visit Nan Myint Tower to view the city, the King and Queen sometimes ascended the tower to view the beautiful panorama of the country around, with its river, the lakes and Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery popularly known as Me Nu Ok Kyaung Monastery (“Me Nu’s Brick Monastery”.) It was built in 1818 by Nanmadaw Me Nu, the famous Chief Queen of Bagyidaw.

In the evening you will adore the sunset at the 200 year old U BEIN Teak Bridge built in 1782, it’s the largest teak bridge in the world. Overnight stay at Ruper Mandalar hotel in Mandalay.

Day 5
After breakfast at your hotel, we will explore Bagan. Visit the many stupa and pagoda complexes dotting Bagan, including the beautiful Ananda Temple and Shwezigon Pagoda that is said to contain some of Buddha’s relics.

Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration. Ananda Temple is an architectural masterpiece of the early style temples with four impressive standing Buddha images. Thabinnyu Temple is the highest temple in Bagan, standing at over 66 metres in height. This boxy white stucco temple was built by King Alaungsithu in the mid 12th century.

We will enjoy sunset over the site from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda which was built in 1057, it’s also said to enshrine hairs of the Buddha. Overnight stay at the lovely Aureum Palace Resort in Bagan.

Day 6
After your complimentary breakfast at your hotel we will visit the busy Nyaung U Market.

Then onto the most distinctive pagodas such as Myazedi Pagoda which is a gilded stupa sitting on many square receding tiers. Gubyaukgyi Temple (Wetkyiinn village) is the 13th century ‘cave temple’ with fine frescoes of scenes from Jatakas.

Then we will visit a lacquer ware factory (Bagan lacquerware is regarded as the 2nd best in the world.)

Then on to Manuha Temple which was built in 1059 and constructed as a rectangular building of two storeys. The exterior and overall floor plan resemble the more remote Kyauk Gu Ohnmin, a rectangular box topped by a smaller rectangle. Inside three seated Buddhas face the front of the building and in the back there’s a huge reclining Parinibbana Buddha.

Then onto Nanphaya Temple which is close behind the Manuha Pagoda. It is said to have been used as Manuha’s prison although there is little evidence supporting the legend.

Then we will visit Minnanthu village these villagers show their sand paintings hanging on the wall outside of their houses. They earn money by selling these paintings to the tourists.

We’ll take a boat ride along the Ayeyarwaddy River to discover the local life and view the sunset of Pyathagyi Temple. Overnight stay at the lovely Aureum Palace Resort in Bagan.

Day 7
After breakfast at your hotel we will fly to Inle Lake. Which has fantastic hiking, boat trips, floating villages, gardens and markets. It’s also great to see the simple ethnic groups which live here. Almost all the houses on Inle Lake are set on stilts over the water.

After a scenic drive from the airport you will arrive at the dock to find a private motorboat waiting for you. Then an exciting boat trip to Innpawkhone Village famous for its silk weaving handloom. Proceed to the famous wish fulfilling Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and you’ll see floating gardens. (The local people use the weeds from the lake to make floating agriculture, tomatoes from here are regarded as the best in Myanmar.) Overnight at romantic Inle Priness Resort in Inle Lake.

Day 8
After breakfast we will explore the southern part of the Lake by boat traveling through small twisting and turning creeks to reach INDEIN village. Then onto Ywa-Ma village to visit gold and silversmith’s workshops. In the evening you’ll love the sunset while exploring Inle Lake by boat. Overnight stay at Inle Priness Resort at Inle Lake.

Day 9
After breakfast at your hotel we will transfer to Heho Airport for your domestic flight to Thandwe (Ngapali Beach) which is rated as the 8th best beach in the world by Tripadvisor. Check into your hotel and relax. Overnight Stay at gorgeous Amata Resort Hotel at Ngapali Beach.

Day 10
After breakfast at your hotel soak up the marvelous surroundings. You can hire a bicycle and spend at least one day exploring the countryside and villages that follow the coastline.

In the evenings you can watch the fishermen heading out to sea and the fisherwomen collecting up the fish that have been drying in the sun all day. Overnight stay in Ngapali Beach at the gorgeous Amata Resort.

Day 11
After breakfast at your hotel soak up the marvelous surroundings. You can hire a bicycle and spend at least one day exploring the countryside and villages that follow the coastline.

In the evenings you can watch the fishermen heading out to sea and the fisherwomen collecting up the fish that have been drying in the sun all day. Overnight stay in Ngapali Beach at the gorgeous Amata Resort.

Day 12
After breakfast at your hotel you will be picked up and transferred to the airport for your flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon you will be transferred to your hotel the historical Governor’s Residence.

Day 13
